EDITORIAL POLICY

Function before storefront

Treemeliority Market works from the physical task toward the tool. The merchant catalogue comes last.

1. Define the job

“I need binoculars” is almost content-free. Watching from a window, carrying optics all day, identifying birds at dusk, and scanning open country impose different requirements on magnification, objective size, field of view, weight, and weather sealing.

2. Separate a specification from a decorative number

A specification matters when changing it predictably changes the way the object behaves. A spectacular number printed on a listing is not evidence by itself.

3. Look at failure modes

Field equipment should be judged not only under ideal conditions but under rain, dirt, low light, depleted batteries, rough handling, and ordinary maintenance.

4. Keep editorial reasoning separate from the affiliate layer

An affiliate commission may arise after a visitor follows an external link and makes a qualifying purchase. It does not make the merchant the source of the site's technical conclusions. A guide should remain useful even if the reader never clicks a product link.

5. Correct technical errors

If a specification, explanation, or recommendation is wrong, it should be corrected regardless of whether the correction helps or harms a particular merchant or affiliate programme.
